Planning a Savannah bachelorette weekend does not need to become a second full-time job. But there are a few things worth locking down before everybody arrives - especially when you are coordinating a group with different budgets, travel times and ideas of what a fun weekend should look like.
Use this checklist as the practical pre-trip version: what to decide, what to reserve and what to communicate before the group hits Savannah.
1. Decide the Overall Vibe
Is this a full nightlife weekend, a food-and-drinks weekend, a mix of sightseeing and partying, or a slower
trip with one big night out? Decide that first. It makes every other choice easier.
2. Set a Realistic Group Budget
Talk about money before reservations are made. Include lodging, meals, activities, rideshares, tips and

and open containers are prohibited in vehicles. Check the current city rules before your trip.
7. Plan Transportation Before the Drinks Start
If your group needs a rideshare, shuttle or other transportation, handle that before everyone is already
several drinks in. Never make driving part of the plan after drinking.
8. Choose Outfits That Match the Actual Plans
Matching outfits can be fun, but plan them around Savannah weather, cobblestones, walking and the
places you are actually going. Cute shoes that last twenty minutes are not helping anybody.
9. Build in Recovery Time
Do not schedule every hour. Leave part of the next morning or afternoon open for brunch, coffee, the
beach, shopping or doing absolutely nothing.

Put addresses, reservation times, confirmation numbers and the weekend plan in one place. This is
boring until someone cannot remember where dinner is.

Rain, long lines and packed bars happen. Pick a few backup places in the same area so one problem
does not derail the whole evening.
