When should I schedule my maternity session?
Most maternity sessions take place around 28 to 34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully defined but you’re usually still comfortable enough to move around during the session.
Every pregnancy is different, so we can choose timing that makes the most sense for you.
What should I wear?
Choose something that makes you feel comfortable and beautiful.
Flowing dresses, fitted silhouettes, neutral tones, textures, or something completely different can all photograph beautifully.
I’ll help you think through your outfits before the session.
Do you provide maternity dresses?
At this time, outfits are provided by the client.
I’ll help you choose clothing and styling that works beautifully with your location, body, and the overall feeling you want for your photographs.
I have no idea how to pose. Is that okay?
Absolutely.
You are not expected to know what to do in front of the camera.
I’ll guide your hands, body position, movement, and angles throughout the session so you never have to figure it out on your own.
Can my partner be included?
Absolutely.
Partners are welcome, and some of my favorite maternity photographs come from the connection between expecting parents.
Can our children join the session?
Yes.
Older siblings are absolutely welcome and can make the photographs even more meaningful by documenting your family just before it grows again.
Where do maternity sessions take place?
Sessions are available throughout Bluffton, Hilton Head Island, Savannah, and the surrounding Lowcountry.
We’ll choose a location based on the look you want, lighting, season, privacy, accessibility, and what makes you most comfortable.
Can we bring something meaningful for the baby?
Of course.
Ultrasound photographs, tiny shoes, heirloom items, or something meaningful to your family can be incorporated when it feels natural.
You definitely do not need props to create beautiful maternity photographs, though.
How many photographs will I receive?
Your session includes 8, 15, or 30 edited digital photographs, depending on the package you choose.
You’ll select your favorites from a private proof gallery, with additional photographs and full gallery upgrades available.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes.
Flexible payment options are available through Affirm and Klarna for eligible purchases, allowing you to potentially spread your session investment over time.

What happens if it rains?
Lowcountry weather can change quickly.
If weather conditions aren’t suitable for your session, we’ll work together to reschedule for another available date.
How long does it take to receive our gallery?
Your photographs will be professionally edited and delivered through a private online gallery.
Your estimated turnaround time will be confirmed when your session is booked.
